UNIVERSITY OF MIAMI STUDENT FILM - The Woman in the Mirror. Lisa Reid, 14, has a brain
aneurysm and almost dies. The doctors manage to remove the aneurysm and save her life but damage her optical nerve in the process, causing her to slowly go blind.
Fifteen years later at the age of 29, she falls, hits her head in the
shower, regains her eyesight and discovers to her shock and amazement
that she doesn't look fourteen- years- old anymore; her image of herself hasn't changed, even though she has.
Casting for Lisa at age 14: skinny, gawky, art student, energetic, suffers a brain
aneurysm and goes blind. Lisa at age 29: attractive, confident freelance writer, blind, falls in shower and recovers
eyesight. Your chances of being cast will improve if you come with someone
